2009 Juicy Lucy Classic Winner - Andrew Hill
Juicy Lucy

Grab your bike, put on your running shoes and go wild! 25 April, 2010 has been earmarked for the upcoming Juicy Lucy Classic mountain bike race

T

he course will give those taking part in the 18km and 40km mountain bike races as well as the 15km trail race a chance to compete ‘on the wild side’ - through the rugged and picturesque Gwahumbe Reserve Game & Spa.

Those who do not want to take on this gruelling challenge, as well as youngsters and newcomers, can enjoy the 5km and 10km fun rides. There will also be a toddlers’ race, making the Juicy Lucy the perfect outing for the entire family.

As in past years, the Juicy Lucy classic will be held at the Mid Illovo Club. Last year’s field numbered a record 1 500 and is expected to grow even more this year with the addition of both new mountain bikers and runners.

Take on a fresh, new challenge in 2010! Registration takes place at the Mid Illovo Club from 7am on 25 April.  For more information, log onto www.juicylucy.co.za or call Brett Austen Smith on 082 572 4522.
